Free food on your birthday is one of life’s small joys — and if you’re a MOD Rewards member, MOD Pizza has you covered. The birthday reward isn’t shouted about on MOD’s homepage, which is why there’s so much confusion about whether it even exists. Here’s the straight answer for 2026.
Does MOD Pizza Do a Birthday Reward?
Yes — through MOD Rewards. Members report receiving a birthday bonus, typically a free MOD No Name Cake, redeemable around their birthday via the app. MOD’s official channels don’t heavily advertise it (some coupon sites even claim no birthday reward exists), but member-facing offers and MOD Rewards descriptions consistently reference birthday rewards for members.
The honest framing: it’s a member perk, not a public promotion. If you’re not in MOD Rewards, there’s no birthday freebie with your name on it. Joining is free, so the barrier is about thirty seconds of signup.
What Do You Get?
The standard birthday reward is a free No Name Cake — MOD’s famous chocolate, cream-filled dessert cake. It’s the same reward new members have received as a signup bonus in past promotions, and it’s a genuinely good dessert (not a sad mini-cookie).
Specifics can vary by year and location — MOD has adjusted Rewards perks over time — so treat the No Name Cake as the typical reward and check your app near your birthday for the exact offer.
How to Get Your MOD Pizza Birthday Reward: 4 Steps
- Join MOD Rewards — free via the MOD Pizza app or website. You’ll earn 1 point per $1 on all purchases anyway.
- Add your birthday to your profile — the reward is tied to the birthdate in your account. Add it well before your birthday month; last-minute additions may not trigger the offer in time.
- Watch the app around your birthday — the birthday bonus typically appears in your offers/rewards section near your birthday.
- Redeem in the redemption window — member reports indicate roughly a 60-day redemption window around your birthday through the app. Don’t let it expire.
Fine Print Worth Knowing
- Participating locations only — franchise locations set their own participation; the offer may not appear everywhere.
- One per member — it’s tied to your account, so no stacking.
- App redemption — the birthday bonus is generally redeemed through the app, not by announcing your birthday at the counter.
- Not valid with other offers — standard MOD promotion terms apply.
- Keep your profile current — if your birthday isn’t in your profile, the system can’t send the reward.
